Ippudo HK

After eating dish after dish of amazing Cantonese specialties in every area of Hong Kong (from Kowloon to Hong Kong island to Lamma Island), I felt the craving for some good ramen. So, after a quick decision for a spot on/can't miss bowl of tonkotsu ramen and other tasty bites... The name, Ippudo, came up because their reputation would not disappoint.

(Weee Weeee!)

(Those Japs and their comic walls...)

(So many Orientals...)

Ok, I'm fucking starving... So, in the words or Bruce Dickinson, less talk, more cowbells...

(Tools... Not the douchey kind)

(IPPUDO BBQ Pork Bun)

(Spicy Tofu and Minced Pork in Stone Hot Pot)

(Crispy Chicken with Sweet or Spicy Sauce)

(Codfish with Saikyo Miso Sauce)

(BBQ Pork Slices Served on Hot Plate)

(Beef Tataki)

(Potato Salad)

(Vegetable Root Chips)

(Chicken Wings with Cod Roe)

(Shiromaru Motoaji)

(Akamaru Shinaji)

(Extra Pork and Roe)

Was that not a fucking feast for an Emperor? Everything was good and it hit the spot. Can't wait for lunch...

4 Stars.

I went to Ippudo when I was in NY last month, good ramen, loved the pork buns, really delicious sake-gin cocktail!

Ippudo NY is opening another location soon and a third in the future. The HK one has 50% more items on their menu that is not available in NYC... Was really good.
